The short version. LED Banner lets you type a message and show it as a scrolling, glowing sign on your own screen. What you write is yours, and it stays on your device — but you are responsible for it. The app is provided “as is”, the free version shows ads, and Pro is a monthly subscription billed and cancelled through your app store.
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the developer of LED Banner (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, or by using this website, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of these terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use LED Banner on devices you own or control, for your own purposes — personal, commercial signage or otherwise — subject to these terms and to your app store’s rules.
You may not: copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive its source code except where the law expressly permits it; circumvent the limits of the free tier or any purchase check; or use the app in a way that interferes with it or with anyone else’s use of it.
Anything you create with LED Banner — your text, your styling, images you choose as backgrounds — remains yours. We claim no ownership over it and, as explained in the Privacy Policy, we never receive a copy of it.
Because it never reaches us, we cannot review or moderate it, and you alone are responsible for what you display and where you display it. You confirm that you have the rights to any image, logo or text you use, and that displaying it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law that applies to you.
Do not use LED Banner to display or distribute content that:
Local rules about advertising, signage and displays in public places are your responsibility to check and follow.
Flashing lights. LED Banner can produce blinking, strobing, pulsing and colour-cycling effects, and can flash your device’s torch. A small number of people may experience seizures or blackouts when exposed to flashing light patterns, including people with no previous history of epilepsy. If you or anyone who may see the screen has a photosensitive condition, avoid these effects. Stop immediately if anyone feels dizzy, disoriented or unwell.
Do not use while driving or operating machinery, and do not point a flashing screen or torch at drivers or crowds.
Your device. Playback can keep the screen awake at raised brightness for long periods, which uses battery quickly and makes the device warm. Displaying a static, bright image for very long stretches may cause image retention on some OLED screens. Use the player at a sensible brightness and give the device breaks.
The free version is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Some features are unlocked by choosing to watch a rewarded ad, which opens the feature for a limited time. We do not control which ads appear and are not responsible for advertisers’ content, products or websites. Ad availability is not guaranteed: if no ad is available, an unlock through that route may be temporarily unavailable.
We may add, change or remove features, and may stop supporting an operating system version or a device. Features described as “coming soon” or shown as disabled in a particular build are not part of what you are buying. We do not promise that the app will be available without interruption or free of defects.
The app, its name, its icon and its design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Fonts, sounds and templates bundled with the app remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licences; those licences are listed inside the app and in its documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.
The app relies on services we do not control: Google AdMob, Google Play, the Apple App Store, and (unless you turn them off) Firebase diagnostics. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. Where the app is obtained from a store, that store’s terms apply to the download and to any purchase, and the store is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, run without error, or that exports, wallpapers or effects will work identically on every device.
Nothing here excludes rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded by agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, business or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app — including loss of banners stored only on a device you lose, reset or damage. Keep your own copies of anything important by exporting it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for how you use what the app displays, or for any consequence of displaying it.
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms. On termination, the licence in section 2 ends; sections 3, 9, 11, 12 and 15 survive.
We may update these terms as the app changes. The revised version is published here with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings, or requires a different law to apply, in which case that applies to you.
